Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
- A minimum of 50% marks in graduation is required (pass class for SC/ST/PwBD candidates).
- Applicants should have knowledge of word processing on a computer.
- Proficiency in the official or local language of the concerned RBI office is required.
- Ex-servicemen must have completed at least 15 years of defence service or be recognized as an ex-serviceman.
Age Limit
- Minimum Age: 20 Years
- Maximum Age: 28 Years
- Age is calculated as on 01 February 2026.
- Age relaxation is applicable as per RBI recruitment rules:
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC: 3 years
- PwBD: Up to 10–15 years depending on category
- Ex-servicemen: Length of service plus 3 years (subject to maximum age limit)
- Widow/Divorced Women: Up to 35 years (40 years for SC/ST)

Selection Process
- Preliminary Examination: Objective test of 100 marks conducted online.
- Main Examination: Objective test of 200 marks with multiple sections.
- Language Proficiency Test (LPT): Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in the official/local language of the applied state.
- Final selection will be based on marks obtained in the Main Examination and qualifying the language proficiency test.
Salary / Pay Scale
- Basic Pay: ₹29,000 per month
- Pay Scale: ₹29,000 – ₹78,640
- Approximate Initial Gross Salary: ₹58,514 per month (excluding HRA)
- Additional benefits include house rent allowance, medical facilities, and other allowances as per RBI rules.
