Eligibility Criteria
- B.Sc (Hons.) Nursing / B.Sc Nursing from an institute recognized by the Indian Nursing Council or State Nursing Council.
- OR Post Basic B.Sc Nursing from a recognized institute.
- Candidates must be registered as Nurse & Midwife with the State or Indian Nursing Council.
- OR Diploma in General Nursing & Midwifery (GNM) from a recognized institute with registration as Nurse & Midwife and minimum two years of experience in a hospital with at least 50 beds.
Age Limit
- Minimum Age: 18 Years
- Maximum Age: 30 Years
- Age will be calculated as on 16 March 2026.
- Age relaxation is applicable as per government rules for SC/ST, OBC, PwBD, Ex-servicemen, and other eligible categories.

Selection Process
- Stage I – NORCET Preliminary Examination: Computer-based test with 100 multiple-choice questions.
- Stage II – NORCET Mains Examination: Computer-based test with 160 multiple-choice questions.
- Negative marking of 1/3 mark for each incorrect answer.
- Document verification and medical examination will be conducted for shortlisted candidates.
- Final selection will be based on merit in the NORCET Mains examination and preferences of AIIMS institutes.
Salary / Pay Scale
- Pay Level: Level 07 in Pay Matrix
- Pay Band: ₹9300 – ₹34800
- Grade Pay: ₹4600
