Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates must be unmarried male Indian citizens.
- For SSR / SSR (Medical): Passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Biology (PCB) from a recognised board.
- Minimum 50% aggregate marks and at least 40% in each subject in PCB.
- For MR: Passed Matriculation (10th) from a recognised board.
- Class 12 students appearing in the academic year 2025–26 may also apply, provided they meet eligibility requirements later.
- Candidates must meet the prescribed medical and physical fitness standards set by the Indian Navy.
Age Limit
- Candidates must be born between 01 May 2005 and 31 October 2009 (both dates inclusive).
Application Fee
- Examination Fee: Rs. 550 + 18% GST
- Payment must be made through online modes such as Net Banking, Debit Card, Credit Card, or UPI.
- Admit cards will be issued only after successful payment of the application fee.

Salary / Pay Scale
- During Initial Training: Stipend of Rs. 14,600 per month
- After Training: Level 3 of Defence Pay Matrix (Rs. 21,700 – Rs. 69,100)
- Military Service Pay (MSP): Rs. 5,200 per month plus Dearness Allowance
