Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates must have passed 12th Standard or equivalent from a recognized Board/University.
- Stenography skill is mandatory and will be tested in the Skill Test stage.
- Nationality must be Indian / Subject of Nepal / Bhutan / Tibetan refugee / Person of Indian origin from specified countries as per SSC rules.
Age Limit
- Stenographer Grade C: 18 to 30 years as on 01 August 2026
- Stenographer Grade D: 18 to 27 years as on 01 August 2026
- Age relaxation is applicable for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD/ESM and other eligible categories as per Government rules.

Salary / Pay Scale
- Grade C: Pay Level-7 (₹44,900 – ₹1,42,400)
- Grade D: Pay Level-4 (₹25,500 – ₹81,100)
