The Indian Army has issued the CSBO Grade-II Recruitment 2026 notification for 190 Civilian Switch Board Operator posts under the Ministry of Defence. This recruitment is being conducted by HQ 2 Signal Training Centre, Panaji, Goa. Candidates who have passed Matriculation and possess experience in handling PBX or EPABX systems can apply through email mode before the closing date. The selection process includes a written examination, practical assessment, interview, and medical examination.

Educational Qualification
- Matriculation or equivalent qualification from a recognized board.
- Minimum 6 months experience in handling Private Board Exchange (PBX) or EPABX systems.
- Experience certificate in PBX handling is mandatory.
- Knowledge of spoken English and Hindi is desirable.
Age Limit
- Minimum Age: 18 Years
- Maximum Age: 25 Years
- Age will be calculated as on 31 May 2026.
- Relaxation in upper age limit is applicable for reserved categories as per government rules.

The written examination will consist of objective-type questions in English and Hindi except for the English language section.
Salary Details
Selected candidates will receive pay under Level-3 of the 7th CPC Pay Matrix with an initial salary of Rs. 21,700/- plus admissible allowances.
The appointment will initially be on probation for two years followed by permanent absorption based on satisfactory performance.
