Educational Qualification
- Degree in Mining Engineering from a recognized University/Institute.
- Minimum 60% marks required for General/OBC/EWS candidates.
- Minimum 55% marks required for SC/ST candidates.
- The qualification must be a regular full-time course.
- Valid GATE-2025 Score in Mining Engineering (Paper Code: MN) is mandatory.
- GATE scores of any other year will not be accepted.
Age Limit
- Maximum Age: 30 Years as on 30 April 2026
- OBC (NCL): 3 years relaxation
- SC/ST: 5 years relaxation
- Ex-Servicemen: Relaxation as per Government norms
- Departmental candidates of CIL/Subsidiaries: No upper age limit
- Maximum age under all categories shall not exceed 56 years.

Salary Details
- Pay Scale: Rs. 60,000 – Rs. 1,80,000/-
- Initial Basic Pay during training: Rs. 60,000/- per month
- Selected candidates will undergo one-year training-cum-probation.
- After successful completion, candidates will be confirmed in E-1 Grade.
