Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS), Regional Office Patna has released a recruitment notification for Teaching and Non-Teaching posts for the academic session 2026-27. The recruitment includes PGTs, TGTs, Creative Teachers, and Staff Nurse positions on a purely contractual basis for Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas located in Bihar, Jharkhand, and West Bengal. Educational Qualification
- PGT candidates should possess a Master’s Degree in the concerned subject with minimum 50% marks along with B.Ed qualification.
- TGT applicants should have a Bachelor’s Degree in the relevant subject with B.Ed and CTET Paper-II qualification.
- Staff Nurse candidates should hold B.Sc Nursing / Post Basic B.Sc Nursing qualification with registration in State Nursing Council and relevant experience.
- Knowledge of computer applications and regional languages will be considered desirable for most posts.
Age Limit
- PGTs / TGTs / Creative Teachers: Maximum 50 years as on 01 June 2026.
- Female Staff Nurse: Maximum 35 years as on 01 June 2026.
- Ex-NVS Superannuated Teachers: Maximum 65 years.
Selection Process
- Applications will be shortlisted based on eligibility and submitted details.
- Shortlisted candidates will be called for document verification and personal interaction.
- Interview and interaction process will be conducted between 21 May 2026 and 23 May 2026.
- Final engagement will be purely on contractual basis for the academic session 2026-27.
