Oil India Limited (OIL), a Maharatna Public Sector Undertaking under the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, has released a special recruitment drive notification for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD). The recruitment aims to fill 49 backlog and shortfall vacancies for Junior Technician, Junior Office Assistant, and Junior Engineer posts at OIL’s Field Headquarters in Duliajan, Assam.
Eligible candidates from Assam and Arunachal Pradesh possessing ITI, 10+2, or Diploma qualifications can apply online through the official OIL website. Selection will be based on a Computer Based Test followed by document verification.

Educational Qualification
- Junior Technician Posts: Class 10 with relevant NCVT/SCVT Trade Certificate.
- Junior Office Assistant: 10+2 with Diploma/Certificate in Computer Application (minimum 6 months).
- Junior Engineer (Electrical): Class 10 with 3-Year Diploma in Electrical Engineering and valid Electrical Supervisor Competency Certificate.
- Applicants must possess valid PwBD certificate with minimum 40% benchmark disability.
- Employment Exchange Registration Card from Assam or Arunachal Pradesh is mandatory.
Age Limit
- General Category: 40 Years
- SC/ST Candidates: 45 Years
- OBC (NCL) Candidates: 43 Years
- Additional relaxation applicable for PwBD, Ex-Servicemen, Apprentices, and OIL employees as per rules.
- Age will be calculated as on 08 June 2026.

- Computer Based Test (CBT)

Salary & Benefits
- Grade III Pay Scale: ₹26,600 – ₹90,000
- Grade VII Pay Scale: ₹37,500 – ₹1,45,000
